Author’s Message

     When writing this novel, my intention was clear; I want everyone around the world to know the importance of self-expression. We must live in a world where there is a diversity of ideas so that we can foster a way of living in harmony.

            I am perplexed that after many centuries there is still mistrust among us.  Today we have nuclear missiles pointed at each other for the purpose of defending our beliefs.  I feel saddened that we have not gotten that missiles are not complementary to the human body.

            I want you to know that you are loved.  If you have not heard it from anyone else, I want you to know that I love you.  If ever you are in any doubt about love, know C. H. Miller loves you. 

            What I want everyone to get is that life is valuable and that everyone has the right to live. Every life is precious.  The life that is taken is as valuable as the life that took it away.

            As you read this book I want you to look at your life and question the degree of freedom you have for self-expression.  I want you to begin to ponder the notion of allowing others to be free to live and enjoy the beautiful earth that was given to us as a playground.  I want you to get that the tribesman in Namibia as well as the shopkeeper in Japan as well as the school teacher in New Zealand all share a common purpose: to live and be fully alive in every moment of life.

            I extend to you the quest to seek peace rather than conflict, love instead of hate, understanding as opposed to selfishness, unity rather than separation.
