About the Author

Marcia Conston is a member of Providence United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC.  She grew up in Yazoo City, Mississippi, and received Christ as a child through the influence of her local church family.  She has been an active church member throughout her life, serving in numerous teaching and leadership roles.

Marcia graduated from Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi; and from the University of Southern Mississippi earning a Ph.D. degree in Higher Education Administration. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Divinity, with aspirations of becoming a minister in the United Methodist Church.  She and her husband, Clidell, have two children.
