Fallen
I open my eyes one day, and the penthouse is no more. For I find myself on the streets with the homeless and the poor.
Misfortune has befallen me. I ask the question, why? No quick answers, just the teardrops as I cry.
When you see me on the street, don’t give a look of discern, for you never know in life what’s around the next turn.
Show some compassion, if no more than a smile; you see, just as you, I’m still God’s child.
Should I extend my hand out to you to say hello, and you pass me by, I pray to my Lord God to watch over you from Heaven on high.
Though my life seems to be in disarray, God shelters and protects me in every way.
He is my Savior, my teacher, my friend, my all and all; no man can fall when he answers God’s call.

About the Book
Dark days are now upon us, so many have closed their eyes, now living in darkness and fear. The world in which we live has become infected with greed and selfishness. God created man in His own image providing Him with innate characteristics. Yet, he places himself before God opening the doors to damnation and self destruction. A resurrection is in need, a daily talk with God rendering Him our troubles while praying that we learn to love one another.
About the Author
Born in the small town of Tallulah, Louisiana he gives thanks to God for allowing him to be raised in a loving, caring, and spiritual community. Influenced by his parents and elders through their teachings opened his heart and mind to God’s word at an early age. Through life experience, maturity, and spiritual growth he finds himself closer to God. Reflecting back upon near death experiences and through dreams he has come to realize his purpose of being.
He prays daily that he continues to serve God in the fulfillment of his purpose. To help those that are less fortunate and to not take blessings for granted.
