How do I tell them it is not so?
If anything,
We are the opposite.
Those of us who understand
What it is we face;
That, from the beginning of time,
There has never been a "peace",
Just an interim from war.
For as long as there is
More than one of us,
There will always be
The one who wants more.
Who feels the need
To protect what is his,
By taking
What is not.
Thus it has been,
Thus, it will always be.
