Life is a story of faith. In 1994 I was told that I had Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. I was told that I would only live until I was twenty years old. The doctor told me to come back when I needed braces and a wheelchair. To any six year old, that is a very confusing concept to know that you have some kind of a disease and your not expected to live very long. This is something that I would often think of at first and something I think about still today. Fortunately there is someone who can fix this, someone I totally rely on and put my faith in, someone I can go to and tell all about my problems. His name is Jesus Christ. I grew up believing in all of these things basically through the countless hours my mom has spoken the word of God over my life. There have been times I have wanted to give up, but my Mom has been there through all of it to keep me from losing faith. I have complete faith that any thing the devil throws at me my savior can take care of. It is by his love and power that I have been able to deal with the fact that I cannot do what other young people do. Not that I believe that God puts things on people, but this disability has kept me from doing some things that other people my age do that can get them in to a lot of trouble. I may not be able to do some things but I can do all that God requires of me to do. I thank God that his word says that by his stripes we are healed (1 Peter 2:24), and that with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). My heart goes out to so many people with physical, emotional, and mental problems that do not know that God loves them and wants them to prosper and be in good health. God loves you just as much as he loves his son Jesus that he sent to die on the cross for you. If people could just get a hold of this there would be a great harvest of souls, there would be miracles like we have never seen or heard of before. That is why I am writing this book. I want to let people know that Christ still heals, and if we keep up our faith we will see our healings come to pass, we will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover, we will prophesy, and speak in new tongues (Mark 16:17-18). I thank God for the signs and wonders that are going to take place, and I pray that as you read this book that your faith will be built and that you too may believe and know that God is going to heal you and I.
