Simple Man

NOT VOTING  The government have no interest in improving anything. They work on a concept of greed, if their not thinking of new ways to take your money. They are storming into wars. (for profit) I wouldn’t trust a politician as far as I could throw one. And I will not vote for any of the corrupt fools that think they can lead the country. A leader should be humble and careful. Not headstrong, confident and egotistical like most politicians are. Power mad from the moment they decide to enter a life of politics. Desire and ambition are qualities needed to make it to the top. It’s a long hard fight on that road to No 10. That only the strongest most cunning, most daring. Of men achieve it. And if that is already in a persons nature how can you expect that person to lead the country with a thought for anyone else but themselves? It’s totally impossible. So no I won’t vote. No matter what charade they put on. No matter how they spin it. Truly ambitious people will never make good leaders. To me a leader should be someone that is reluctant to do it. Someone that plays down his own importance. Not lives up to it.

A GOOD LIFE I know I contradict and repeat myself so many times in this book. But fuck it, it’s such an easy thing to do? I’ll leave it as it is. Changing the world is not easy you know. Especially when like me you can be outsmarted by a glass of water. All I’m trying to do is make people think. I like to think there are different ways of doing things. Just about everything about the way we live seems wrong to me. Priorities seem to be in all the wrong places. Work should never be a priority. It pays for our lives. But what’s the point if we don’t get to enjoy them? My motto has always been ‘work to live not live to work’ that’s why I want shorter working hours. I want to be able to spend more time with my kid. I want to feel more vibrant and awake. I just want to have a good life. I don’t even necessarily want to be rich. Just make enough to be able to pay the bills comfortably and still have money to take my kid to the zoo. And I believe everyone in this world has the right to a good standard of living. It don’t matter if your a window cleaner, gardener, builder or the man that cleans the bogs in McDonalds. Everyone deserves a decent wage. There is a lot of money out there more then they want us to know about. Lets start making them realise we know. And demand we get some.

MINIMUM WAGE According to my research the minimum wage in this country is £5.05 an hour for those over the age of 22. Workers between the age of 18-21 earn the minimum of £4.25 an hour. So going back to the top one £5.05 an hour. Would mean earning £40.30 for a standard eight hour day. That gives an average of £201.50 a week. Now who the fuck can live on this in rip off Britain? I’m in a trade and bringing home just under £500 a week and still struggling to pay the bills. God knows how those that are on a minimum wage cope. It really is sick that we treat anyone like this in this day and age.

So I think a more radical solution is needed. I propose the minimum wage should be no less then £50, an hour. That would mean in my all new standard five hour days. Earning £250 a day. That’s £1250 a week. Now that’s more like it. That would make it worthwhile to get out of bed in the morning. Just watch the workforce of the world expand when you pay the people a proper wage.

And all my other ideas are to still be enforced. The Inland revenue to be destroyed. Inflation/Deflation to be done away with. Stop worrying about drawing up a budget each year. It doesn’t matter. The state will have the power to pay out what needs to be paid to make sure our schools hospitals and essential services are running properly. And then what we’ll have is what has never happened before in the history of the human race. We would have a happy society.

There are so many benefits to people actually having money. I have no understanding as to why we are not letting them. A thousand pound a week isn’t going to make us rich. But it would sure as hell make us a lot happier. And when the tax and inflation rates are dropped. We would be keeping more of that money for ourselves and not worrying about the government pushing prices up on anything. Because frankly there really is no need to.

So everything in life becomes a lot easier. We can afford to buy homes and do them up. We can afford to pay the builder the proper rates. We’ll be able to take time out to enjoy ourselves without worrying to much about going in to work all the time because now that the firms don’t have to pay high business rates they are able to hire much more staff to cover any eventuality. And actually pay them properly because the products they are producing are being brought because we can now afford to buy them. Pubs and clubs will start flourishing again. Happy people become more sociable people. Without the stresses of work we can go out for a night without worrying about rising at six in the morning. Because the all new working rules means you can turn up at any bloody time you like.

And this should apply to every single country in the world. A singular currency that holds the same value across the globe. Truly and totally revolutionising the way the world works. A wage that people can actually live on. Across every single country of the world. The actual businesses that are paying the workers will still be making more money then us, but so what. It doesn’t matter that footballers, actors, writers, and what not are still richer then us. Who cares. As long as we’re earning money we can live on comfortably what does it matter that Beckham is a multi millionaire? Would envy still exist if we could afford things as well? True we may not be able to have twenty one bedroom mansions.... (more in the book)
