Easton was extremely important to the fate of the American colonies during the French and Indian War, and also played an important role during the American Revolution. It then served as a hub for the growing commercial development of the new nation. Includes an Appendix of historical sites, to assist walking or driving tours, with many references to an available free map.

About the Author


Richard Faull Hope was educated in the US and Europe, with an honors degree in history from Ohio State University and a law degree from the Harvard Law School. His law career included a judicial clerkship with the Alaska Supreme Court, and corporate takeover litigation in New York until 1983. He then spent 18 years as a Corporate Counsel to AT&T and two spin-off companies, retiring from full-time work in 2001. He now lives in Easton, Pennsylvania, doing corporate consulting, and teaching college business law and international business law courses. Professional publications include law articles on corporate takeovers, and an annotated "Draft Model Employment Contract for Space Employees”.
