About the Author

Mr. Bob Gibson is a native of Peoria, Illinois. He was born to Spencer Sr. and Alberta Gibson and is the youngest of eleven children. Bob’s mother died when he was at the age of nine. Mr. Gibson was raised in Taft Homes, an inner-city project surrounded by decent

and wholesome people amid the threat of gang violence, rioting, and poverty.

 

Although raised in the inner-city, Bob being raised by a strict father who also later died, manage to escape bad influences of the streets. Mr. Gibson because of the Godly principles which were instilled, went on to better himself graduating Woodruff High School and on to Illinois Central College. Being able to further his educational endeavors he had a better mentality and favorable outlook on life.

 

Bob, is also an accomplished musician/song writer, who has traveled on tour across the country with the Voices of Deliverance Choir.

 

Mr. Gibson, also with the choir shared the stage with the likes of many top Gospel singers such as the legendary late Mattie Moss Clark, and the Clark Sisters, the Winians Brothers, the group Commission and evangelist Walter Hawkins and family as well as other renowned gospel musicians.
