About the Book

An odyssey thru a city. 50 full page  photographs showing the  realism of Detroit and her citizens today. Photos of older buildings and street scenes, beautiful women, tough surviviors, bus stops, basketball and housefires.

No senseless babble, no urban rationalization, the viewer is the visitor to the city. To undiscovered places and meets the truly heroic and fantastic people. Up and down Woodward avenue, the old factory districts, the railyards off E.Grand Blvd. Young adults with their pit bulls, motorcycle gangs, a nice residential area, the Detroit river and a blizzard down Horton street are just some of the photos selected. Each hand printed and tinted. Some in a sepia tone others selenium print.

The book also has information on how to contact the photographer thru email and possible order a print that he or she especially likes. Or to just communicate to the photographer their personal impressions.
