About the Author

A Michigan resident, and Connecticut native,  “M.P.” Johnson discovered, after navigating the college application process with her son, there was a definite need to bridge the needs of the participants with the demands of the process, decrease the stress factor and meet admission issues with confidence.  This, as a result of her son’s observation, in spring of 1988, “This (college application process) shouldn’t be this difficult.  We should do something about it.”   Although her initial response reminded him she was already employed, soon, it was apparent he had a point.

By fall of 1988 “M.P.” found herself sharing information with every parent of a high school Senior.  In September of 1989 they opened LMD-Campus Connect to help applicants and parents meet admission goals and resolve transition challenges with less stress equity.

In 2004 “M.P.” began writing the handbook, to provide households with interactive tools to make an impact on admission goals and objectives.
