Javon
Javon Walker is a mechanic at Joe’s Garage on the Eastside of Detroit, Michigan. His hunger for the fast life with even faster women overwhelms him and his long-time friend, Maurice. As the both of them joke about how many women they’ve been with, Javon’s sleazy, playa life seems to overwhelm him and take over his better judgment. Until he meets the woman that changes his view on the female species and puts his life in perspective, to the point he feels guilt over his past behavior and vows to make right by his present woman.

Unique Thomas is the youngest defense attorney in the state of Michigan. Never losing a case, Unique is on her way to stardom and making partner. She seeks nothing but success in her future, business-wise. While her beautician/ best-friend, Sasha, tends to look elsewhere besides a lengthy career, but more interests into men with “big tools” in their pants or big wallets in their pockets. Unique is too concerned with her career plans to even notice that she has been without a man for well over two-years. Thanks to the experience of her cheating ex-boyfriend. Unique also lives with the fact that every man she has ever loved has left her. So now, she promises that her career will be the most and only stable thing in her life. Until an accident brings her closer to someone that is the total opposite of who she is. She finds herself tangled in that web of love again. Even though Unique finds herself dealing with the weight of her new lover’s baggage, she finds something different in him that leads her to feel that, he might just be worth fighting for.
