About the Book

Escape From The Clan is a crime novel that expounds on the vicious world of the main character, Roger Singleton. Roger is a self-made man. Although he hasn't made it to the big time, Roger knows how to squeeze every ounce out of his environment and take advantage of the situation he's dealt with. Roger Singleton is of the new breed of Black men. He wants his share of the apple pie and he is determined to have it. A white woman, long the taboo for black men in America, doesn't deter Rober. He is cocky and self assured. Damn what the white man thinks about it. Roger is even willing to risk life and limb for a taste of white sugar. He realizes it might spell disaster for him but the treasure is too great to pass up, even if the Clan wants him dead.
