Book Review:
How can we get past our past? How can we live our lives again? The author, Louis Adams, answers these questions, and more by relating his own experiences in his journey toward and through spiritual fulfillment.
The message this book sends will touch anyone who is struggling with their past. It will enlighten anyone who is struggling with their own faiths and beliefs. Mr. Adams describes in moving detail his own journey to Jesus Christ. From his many health problems as a child, his sick-bed reading of the Bible, through his revelation, second baptism, and ministry, Mr. Adams shows us we can find Jesus Christ anywhere, anytime.
Mr. Adams helps guide us in our search for Jesus Christ. He tells us how to balance out personal life with our spiritual life. He shows us that the power of prayer is always available to us. Mr. Adams tells us of Satan's many cunning ploys he uses to draw us away from God and to himself.
Mr. Adams tells us how the church today needs to be cleansed from the sin that is found there, and how we as Christians should speak less and listen more. We should be doers of the word, not simply hearers. We must pay attention to the signs that God puts in our life, and we must listen with our spiritual ears to what He has to say to us. Mr. Adams shares relevant scriptures with us, scriptures to help strengthen us, and to help us in our battle with our personal, as well as, spiritual lives. Mr. Adams shows us that we must move past our past in order to live again. He demonstrates to us how this can be done by using his own personal experiences, and by using Biblical scripture.
Anyone who is struggling with the world today and all the problems that arise from it, who is struggling with their own personal life and demons, who is struggling with their spiritual life, or who is struggling with past experiences that they need to overcome would highly benefit form reading this book. It is straight forward and to the point. It is easy to understand and can be enjoyed by many age levels. Teens, as well as, adults could benefit from the insight this book has to offer. In my opinion this book will truly inspire, enlighten, and bless anyone who reads it. It will answer many questions that many of us have, but either ignore or are afraid to ask.
