He then decided to try pointing to where he had seen him last, and hoped that Harold would just take a quick look. “LOOK, HAROLD, LOOK! QUICKLY! DOWN THERE BESIDES THAT ROCK!”
Harold shook his head as he decided to just take a look at what Henry was showing him, just so he could go away even quicker.
He then climbed out from the nest slowly and then flew over to him, as Polly and Peeta slept peacefully, even after all that noise they were making.
“LOOK, HAROLD, LOOK! QUICKLY! DOWN THERE BESIDES THAT ROCK!” Henry shouted again.
Harold then looked down to where he was pointing to, but saw nothing out of the ordinary, as he looked around slowly.
“Okay then, my dear wonderful, friend, Henry. I can see some delicious looking seeds lying on the ground over there, as if they just can’t wait for me to fly down and eat them all up with this big beak of mine. And I also see Mary and Bob behind those bushes, mating, as if their thirty-eight children aren’t more than enough for them to handle already.”
“But wait a minute. Shame on me. I feel like throwing myself in a cage right now. How could I have missed this one, Henry? The best scene I have ever seen in my life; that big rock besides that tree which has been lying there for almost eight hundred years.”
“WOW! This is really amazing, Henry! I should really give you ten golden medals and twenty trophies for waking me up so early, just to show me all these wonderful things that I have never once seen before. You really are a true and wonderful friend.”
“You know what — let me look down to see if I can find anything more to look at — because so far — I have been very lucky. This really must be my lucky day!”
He then decided to look down one last time — as Henry looked on with a frightened look on his face.
“Okay then, here we go. And last, but not least, I also see a big snake climbing up my tree right now!”

About the Book
A snake had stolen one of the eggs from Harold and Polly’s nest and was thought to have been eaten while they waited eagerly for their other egg to hatch.
Peeta, who had hatched a few days later, grew up with three beautiful red feathers on his left wing which his parents had never seen on another parakeet before.
A few days later, he happened to meet a pigeon who told him that there was indeed another parakeet in the City who had the same red feathers as he.
He then goes to rescue the parakeet just after he realizes that it must be the one who had hatched from the stolen egg!
