About the Book

Portraits Vol. I is for professionals who do not have the time to invest in a full length novel.  Each story portrays a special woman’s ability to show strength, vulnerability and sexuality without sacrificing self worth.  Professionals, students, and home-makers can relate to the characters and draw from their lives and experiences.  The excitement of first love to the satisfaction of a life long commitment are painted murals within the pages and draw you to continue to read story after story in an effort to achieve the love displayed within.  

About the Author

C.D. Mattox is a professional woman with a bachelors degree in psychology who uses her writing to express her passion for each woman’s desire and right to live a life totally honest and true to herself.  As a former teacher, she understands and relates to the need for individualism in a world that dictates conformity when dealing with subject matter that is considered alternative.  A Florida native, ex-military and currently working in finance, she develops characters that are real and easy to relate to on a personal as well as professional level.
