In this sequel to Waltzing Corridors In the Dark, more baffling mysteries and questions beckon as the story follows one of its characters to England. After Phyllis’s marriage to Cecil, the couple journeys back to his home in London-originally the home of a famous writer named Faun.

As Phyllis starts to learn of her husband’s true cold-heartedness, she also discovers a warm, spirited atmosphere within the walls of her new home. Never knowing the warmth of home life back in Australia, Phyllis clenches to this new life in Faun House even though it is really an afterlife.

The worlds of the living and the dead intertwine within each other. Phyllis soon entangles herself in a web, unmasking torments that determine the future from its past and the past from its future.

About the Author

Author Laura Catherine was quickly inspired to write a sequel to her first novel, Waltzing Corridors in the Dark. Spider on the Window follows the lives of some of her previous characters to another country and another time. Her descriptive style places the reader within the situations of the characters in her stories.

Now at the age of twenty, this college student eagerly continues her love of writing. She is a literature major who is greatly inspired by several writers of the Victorian era. Laura Catherine’s stories embrace the personalities of each character she creates as they travel complex journeys through each page.
