About the Author

Tsu-ing Hung

Earned two Master''s Degrees in the United States, Teaching English as a Second Language from Oklahoma City College and Early Childhood Education from Ball State University. She is currently an English Lecturer at Hsing Kuo University of Management in Tainan, Taiwan. In Taiwan, she has authored or coauthored three books and eight articles related to childhood English education. She hopes to introduce Chinese or Taiwanese folk stories in English to the children of Taiwan and their teachers.

Dr. Tzung-yu Cheng

Earned his doctorate at Ball State University in Reading Education. He is currently an associate professor of English at Hsing Kuo University of Management in Tainan, Taiwan. Three books and fourteen articles are credited to him concerning English education for adults and young children. By converting Chinese and Taiwanese folk stories into English picture story books, Westerners may also share in excellent Chinese ancient traditions.

Wayne Wodrich

Earned his master''s degree in Elementary School Administration from Indiana University. Using his experience in teaching English as a foreign language while teaching overseas, he adapted the story of Tang Tzu to help children not only learn the rich culture of China but also guide them in learning English. His photos and poetry have been published in four magazines and three poetry books in the U.S.A.

Jia-jer Zou

He is a self-taught artist who specializes in drawing portraits. His work has earned outstanding awards by the Artist Association of Taiwan. He owns a studio where his work is displayed. Currently, he is a graduate art student at Taiwan Normal University in Taipei. This book shows his skill with recreating the past and using color with emotions to attract the children of the present.
