To Whom It May Concern:

Survival is the story of Hope’s life.

Her father is an alcoholic.  Her mother is a nymphomaniac. A poor family.

Hope overcomes one obstacle after another during her eighty years.  The loss of her children, and the breakup of a first marriage all contribute to making Hope the strong woman she is.

She becomes a published author at age seventy, a dream she knew she wanted as a little girl when asked her ambition ... the answer ... “to be an author”.

About the Author

The author, Donna Capone, age 70, retired homemaker.

The fields she excelled in prior to retiring were medical, property management, and retail jewelry (working 50-70 hours per week managing the jewelry store).

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, lived in York, Pa. for ten (10) years, returned to St. Petersburg, Florida and in 1985 moved to Honolulu, Hawaii.

Donna and her husband, John, currently live in Old Lahaina Town on the island of Maui.
