About the Book

At first, my fantasies were overwhelming with physical thoughts of Sundiata.  Thereafter, my mind yearned for the sound of his voice and intellectual conversation.  I wanted to “vibe” with this brotha more than I’ve ever wanted to with anyone else.

Instead of caressing my body with his beautiful hands; I allowed him to massage my soul with his words of intellect.  Instead of gently kissing my brow; I allowed him to speak to my soul with his words of inspiration.  Instead of luring me into his bedroom (passionately); I allowed him to engulf me into his worldly adventures.

Fate brought us together…Sundiata was my guide back to the “old” me in just SEVEN DAYS.

About the Author

Carmen Y. Barron-Perrin, a mother of two, was born in Westbury (Long Island), N.Y.  For years, she has created some of the most touching poetry.  Throughout her life, she has always remained compassionate and has the ability to write her feelings out on paper.  Her poems are very personal to her and whomever she writes to/about.  Her special talent in writing poems is her ability to complete each poem within a 10 minute radius.  Somehow the words “just seem to come out of nowhere.”  Seven Daze… is her first published work and she is excited to share her experience with the world.  She hopes that everyone who reads this book can take a minuet part of her experience and capitalize on it.
