About the Author

An author of just the age twenty one, James Deevers has seen many things that he attempts to explain to help many reading this book. Deevers was born in Lafayette, Indiana. He was abused until the age of three; as a result he was adopted. He has not seen his parents since. From the age 14-18, Deevers describes himself as a troubled child. He spent time in juvenile detention center through those years.

 

At the age of 18, Deevers spent a year strung out on drugs. Later he found the military. He spent two years in the military and was later discharged. Four months later, thinking that he had things figured out, his father committed suicide. Next, his hardships continued when his family disowned him. Alone and without a family, he ended up getting arrested six more times in the following year. This left him vulnerable. Looking for affection he ended up in a relationship with the wrong person. This woman took his car, his house, ended up pregnant, and abused him.

 

Eventually, Devers got out of the relationship. Next, he found himself despite the fact he would spend more time in jail. All of these events have sparked him to be become somebody.
