Chapter 1. Understanding Gods’ purpose and Design for Marriage:
[All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: II Timothy 3:16 ]
Like myself, there are many men and women, who have longed for, searched diligently after, and even indulged in relationships with high expectations of finding true love and companionship. Only too be disappointed with themselves and the person that they thought would be genuine in their quest for love.
They engage in broken relationships, which produce a false sense of security, a lack of commitment, broken trust, and a sense of self-loss and self worth based on some one else’s, ideology of the perfect companion or mate. Which contrary, to popular opinion or belief, the real truth of the matter is, that there is no perfect mate, neither male or female.
For when two people are entered into a long term relationship eventually gearing toward the marriage union, they must realize that they are two different individuals, from opposite backgrounds, with divided thoughts and interests. And that they must compromise their philosophies, so that there will be an intertwining of the minds, in order for the partnership to be successful, and to build a bulwark for a strong and meaningful relationship. Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amos 3:3 (K.J.V.)
The parties involved in the process of building a life long commitment must define what the foundation is for their relationship. Is it love or lust? I love you because or I love you for? Selfishness or giving? What can I get out of this? Or what can I give, that will enhance the relationship?

About the Book
When Love Comes, The Second Time Around is a unique Book which portrays in detail the love of Christ which is demonstrated to the Church, through His sufferings at the Cross and how that same love is exemplified in the lives of Spirit-filled marriages between husband and wife in the Body of Christ, and the comparison they make.
It is a fundamental Book substantiated by the Word of God on Scriptural precepts set forth in the Holy Scriptures, pertaining to Godly inspired relationships which result in marriage and the way this can be attained based on Biblical Principles.
The focus of this Book is to minister restoration to the many men and women whose lives have been torn apart by broken relationships within the Body of Christ. And to differentiate the world view of acquiring companionship in opposition to God’s original design and ordination for relationship and marriage for the male and female searching for companionship, and who have given up hope in thinking that a second chance at love and the right person for them is impossible, and eventually bring them to the realization, that with God all things are possible!
This Book was also designed to make the reader aware of the fact that the main source and originator of all things, including Love and Marriage, is Jesus Christ. And to establish a dialogue between the two components which, when interacted, administered, and understood in their proper sequences, will help to build the foundation for a healthy, happy and lasting relationship when subjected according to the instructions given in the Word of God.
About the Author
Evangelist Sharon Johns was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is now a resident of Columbus, Ohio, where the Lord blessed her to meet her husband and love of her life, Elder William Johns of three years. She is the mother of three children, two daughters Kisharra and Tiffany, a son Sir Anthony, and step daughter, Danielle.
She received Salvation in 1990, through Jesus Christ, was called into the ministry by God, Licensed and Ordained for the service and work of the Lord, under the Leadership of the late Bishop John L. Sanders, at Zion Tabernacle Apostolic Faith Church located, in downtown Muskegon, Michigan, during her eight year membership there.
She attended a six month training course at Zion Bible College, where her studies included Leadership and Theology courses. Later she attended Davenport College, located in Holland, Michigan, for one year, where her studies included Creative writing, and Critical thinking courses.
She presently attends, Gods Grace Deliverance Apostolic Faith Church, located in Whitehall, Ohio, where her Pastor is, Bishop, Seaborn Bishop, whose Ministry, knowledge of the Word of God, and Godly example has helped her to grow in the Grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, that she may continue to develop a close personal relationship with the Savior.
Her goal and objective through Evangelism, is to reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to persuade individuals to turn unto the Lord, through repentance and restoration by the Spirit of God, through obedience to the Holy Scriptures!
