Often the winds of life usher in unexpected dust. The dust of life can often seem unbearable, and brings with it difficult situations and disturbing events, such as discouraging moments, disappointing outcomes, displaced hope, exhausting expectations, enemies, betrayal, raping lies, freezing faith, spirits crushed by others carelessness, and challenging pain that can rip the spiritual guts and very essence of a person. Job informs in Job 14:1, “MAN that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.” In turn we can not focus on but expect to experience our share of soul strengthening events.
Regardless of how gifted and blessed we are, life brings with it the taste of struggles. No one is exempt from obstacles, pains, disappointments, and issues of the heart. Obstacles are woven and integrated into the prophetic plan of our very fiber and included in the unwritten contract of life. Obstacles should not overtake you of our purpose and destiny, but the fruits of our walk will forever be altered and affected by how we address obstacles. How we relate to our obstacles will be evident in our fruit. The word of God lets us know in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Just as all have sinned, all of us must face obstacles. Obstacles are not a threat to our integrity once we understand their purpose. The believer must learn how to turn obstacles into an opportunity to glorify God. This work is designed to stir up prophetic gifts, and ignite an explosion of energy, faith, passion, and zeal that will serve as a vehicle in order that the purpose in which God has establish and declared over your life will come to fruition.
Likewise, the purpose of this work is to empower, motivate, stimulate, and articulate the power of aspirations and determination in the midst of obstacles. At times I am graphic in that I seized the moment and pain of those experience I had in order to help someone that may be going through what I endured.
It has been said that “birds fly, but eagles soar.” Prayerfully and hopefully, something is mentioned in this text which will move you to soar as an eagle even in the clutch of the most difficult adversities. If you are soaring now it is my intent that something is brought to your attention to push you to soar to another level. Additionally, this work is geared toward provoking you to stop flying at a level that is familiar, powerless, ineffective, comfortable, non-productive, and non-threatening, but to break away from the pack and stretch out your wings and soar by the ancient and mysterious power of God, that God has already released unto those who are driven to stomp out the flames of mediocrity. I hope this book will inspire you to the degree that you desire to become a recipient of God’s wonderful blessings. Perhaps this book will serve as a vessel and tool to refresh your dry areas, rekindle deferred dreams, and achieve those goals that seem to have been uprooted and blown in the wind. Perhaps this work will be that vital push that you have longed for so that the vision God has impregnated you will be manifested.
Proverbs 23:7 cautions us that, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” Thus, regardless of your previous or present circumstances (adversity, learning disability, physical impairment, social economical status, environmental, mental issue, abuse, etc.) since we are children of kingdom, if you desired the perfect will of God to be manifested in your life it will be done. In turn we will be able to soar in the horizons of greatness. Obstacles can serve as a motivation to take us to another level or they can overcome us, based on our thought process. In this work I have shown how, despite the many obstacles I had gone though, God has given me strength to soar in the midst of those obstacles.
God wants us to develop a greater appreciation and respect for the word of God because of what God can and has delivered us from and destroyed in our life. My soul looks back in amazement and now I truly have an attitude of gratitude. The greater the debt, the greater the praise and appreciation. I can do nothing without Christ who strengthens me. I know what it feels like to stand in the bowls of hell, and to be delivered and covered by a loving God. It is my intent to convey how God can and will move you from one state of being to another if we are willing and obedient to the plan of God.
