Foreword

I would just like to say a few things about this book. It’s an amateur attempt at doing something which I have always done and may someday be able to make a career out of. Like most writers, the main character is essentially myself, and I could not think of a better, more constructive way to get those things off my chest that bothered me most. It’s also meant to be a critique on society today. Namely my generation and this grudge I’ve always had against it- those things, those distinct qualities that many of us have, ones I believe will one day ruin us all if we allow them the influence to do so. I am just as guilty for my own retention of them and still battling this battle many of us have internally- this acquisition for happiness that for some is a lifelong struggle. Less so, it is about a sport you hardly ever hear about in its true, uncorrupted state. T.V. wrestling entertainment can forever rot in hell for making it so, and in the competitive world of the greatest and oldest sport in existence, in my opinion, there is nothing more intense without bringing violence into the mix. I figured, while I’m fighting the war on terrorism, to whatever degree I’m fighting it, I might as well fight the terror that lurks inside us…which, I don’t know, may be even more important. Thanks for giving me a chance to express this, and I apologize for anything you, the reader, may find offensive.
