Christianity which should be built on Our Lord Jesus Christ’s teachings about himself and the laws of His Father in heaven, has completely lost its bases in practice today. Christ is supposed to be the head of the Christian church, but today, the Clerics and theologians have so fashioned it to make Elders, Pastors, Reverends, Bishops, the Pope, etc, to be heads of our present-day Christian churches.
These churches look up to, and listen to their hierarchical leaders and not the voice of God in the scripture, which is God-breathed. No wonder why these churches are now more of cults than the true church, which is the body of Christ. They are more of political parties than the church.
The word of God – the Bible – is no more the authoritative guide in faith for our church, but man-made doctrines (church manuals) or doctrines, are now the most cherished guides for most Christian denominations. The main aim of these man-made doctrines are to increase the power and wealth of these church elders who have styled themselves as church leaders, and so view themselves as kings, contrary to the teaching of Jesus Christ that tells them to be slaves of their congregation.
This non-denominational book that is absolutely satirical in nature, has appeared to me as a surprise, considering my background, qualification and above all, my duration in Christianity! It has left me with nothing more than shower of praises to the Almighty God and to His son Jesus Christ, through whom we are saved.
No doubt God can use “a stone” to work for him; since he can use a dirty, worthless-rag like me, whom he has called from the hands of prostitutes and from drunkenness to his glory; after being deeply in the world for over twenty years, without having a Bible of my own or reading from someone else’s! This continued until ten years ago, when the Lord himself pulled me over to his side. From these, I believe completely that the Holy Spirit has used me to deliver this hard-truth, with all the boldness that it takes, and will strengthen and give me the courage to bear the consequential effects of this book – Amen!
