About the Book

A young child’s walk along the beach enriches her life through the finding of a starfish, which becomes a real person for a day.  Bri’s love of the sea ultimately leads her to do what’s best for the starfish.

About the Author

Cecilia Castillo is a wife, a mother of three children (two married daughters and a son in college) and a retired educator. She previously served twenty-nine years in a school district in many positions such as Elementary Principal and Assistant Superintendent. Writing a children’s book has always been her dream. Her love of the beach and shells has inspired her to write this heart-warming story.
