About the Book

HOPI PRAYER

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glint in the snow.

I am the sunlight on the ripened grain.

I am the autumn’s gentle rain.

When you awaken in the morning hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush,

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry;

I am not there,

I did not die.

About the Author

For years, Delores B. Nelsen (AKA) Sissy Nelsen has been entertaining friends and family members with her unique stories. Her books are smart, clever and full of twists and turns, with surprising conclusions. Mystery is usually her forte but over the years she has compiled a novel titled, ‘Moccasins in the Snow’ that incorporates the true and tragic facts of the Cheyenne people.

An ardent gardener, she was born and raised in New Jersey. She claims gardening and writing go hand in hand. While working a plot of land it gives her time to plot another story. She doesn’t lay claim to being a writer per se, but a born storyteller.

She is the author of, ‘Sweet Essence of Murder’ and ‘Cloned.’
