About the Book

Kaitlyn Grant’s partner and best friend, Jack Nolan, died in her arms after being shot during an ambush, leaving her shaken and unsure of how to proceed with her life. Taking a leave of absence from her job, she has returned to the only place she truly feels safe and at home, Wolf Canyon, where in the shadow of snow-capped mountains she hopes to piece her life back together again. But the quiet of her peaceful haven is soon shattered by gunfire, and her life is once again turned upside down—and at the center of the turmoil is Alex Chandler, a man that she desperately wants to trust, but who stands accused of two murders.
