About the Author

Instructed in the art of fly fishing at a very young age solely by his father, Mike soon became adept at throwing flies on some of the finest creeks and streams in Montana and California.

His father’s incredible passion is now a fleeting memory, but the love for running water still carries on and can be found flourishing within his son’s spirit.

Mike has been fly fishing for Eastern Sierra wild trout for over three decades and takes great delight in introducing newcomers to the hidden riches within the Eastern Sierra waters, then stepping aside so that they may discover their own passions the rest of the way.
