Preface
This book has been many years in the making. I first started writing and collecting these little stories in the 1960s when I traveled
While I was a journalist I was on the mailing list of several state agencies and other organizations receiving their news releases regularly. From these I wrote some of the medical, pet food, guide dog and other stories.
I am indebted to my late friend, Marjorie Roberts, a world traveler, who told me some of the stories that happened abroad. I regret that she is no longer here to read these stories now.
