The lady in personnel was a snotty bitch. She inquired, “Why do you want information on a volunteer?” Saying sarcastically, that is privileged information and I’m not allowed to give it out.”
Getting angry, Lori almost yelled, “Listen here woman, I bet if I jump over this counter snatch your glasses off and jump up and down on them, then jam the fragments down your throat, when I come back later with a search warrant I bet you’ll give me the information I want and need. Then of course I’ll file a complaint against this hospital for failure to protect a patient. Also I’ll file one against you for the obstruction of justice. What is your name, I want to spell it correctly on the complaint.”
Her hands shaking because of her anger at being rebuffed, without stating her name she scratched a name and address on a piece of paper then threw it on the counter.
Looking at the piece of paper Lori asked, “Would you please print the name and address plainly so it is legible, and not like a bunch of chicken scratches. You can print, can’t you?”
Angrily the personnel director grabbed the paper, crumpled it and threw it at the waste basket, missing it by two feet.
“My, my, we do have a temper,” Lori remarked. “If you should have a stroke you are in a good place. All they have to do is wheel you upstairs.”
Printing the paper she again threw it on the counter.
Looking at it, Lori again asked, “Would you mind typing it for me? I would appreciate it, then there can be no mistakes in the name or address.”
Angrily the office manager moved over to the typewriter jammed a piece of paper into it and started pounding on the keys. Nothing happened except she got more angry and frustrated.
Lori spoke out, “If that’s an electric typewriter you really should turn it on before you attempt to do any typing. Would you like me to type it? You seem sort of nervous and confused.”

About the Book
An early warning satellite system, has been devised with the ability to alert each country linked to it of an attack by the launching of rockets or missiles.
At the same time this system has the ability of automatically retaliating. First destroying the incoming missile, then launching one in retaliation against the aggressor country.
This prevents any country from having the power to force another into accepting domination under their conditions.
A group of radical individuals, wishes to gain control of this system thereby giving them the power to theoretically control the world and its economy.
A the same time a world wide police force is just as determined that no faction will obtain this objective of world domination.
About the Author
After retiring from the military consisting of 22 years and much later, doing the same from civilian life, he decided to jot down some of his experiences, or adventures which had occurred, or he had encountered along the way. Without realizing, it the elements for a novel had appeared, definitively from out of the past.
Acquiring knowledge of early warning, and the interception of, ‘Bogies’ or enemy targets on a scanning screen, he decided to fabricate a thrill filed novel of deception, intrigue, lusts, and the desire for possession, of an object, or an individual.
The factions or people involved are determined, and willing to go to any lengths. With this in mind here is the thrilling novel, “ESCAPADE”
