About the Book

Abuse takes place in many different forms and can be found in any home.  There are more abuse situations arising in the church among Christians than ever before and the church does not know how to deal with these situations.

The Lord inspired me to share my testimony with others, how a life of physical and mental abuse, living in constant fear, and feeling unloved with a poor self image can all be turned around when you place your life in the Master’s Hands.

This book is also a very big part of my husband’s life.  He too experienced horrible sexual and physical abuse.  He was abandoned, starved, and sold for money to people for adoption.

God placed two broken scarred people together who have experienced divorce, abuse, and much pain.  Each day we are constantly healing and growing stronger with each other and in the Lord’s Grace and Mercy.  Bob and I love sharing our story with other hurting couples.  Our prayer is that if this book helps one person, it will be worth it all.

About the Author

Cheryl Rhodes is a very ordinary person with a very extraordinary love for the abused and broken hearted person.  After living a life time of abuse and pain, she realized that the only way to freedom is through surrender, give up, and completely turn over your broken heart to the Master.  We must be willing to surrender before we can be completely healed and delivered from the bondage of abuse.  She is now married to a wonderful husband who also experienced a life time of abuse.  The both of them have worked through many struggles and are now working as one for the Lord.  They love sharing their testimony with others and believe that Jesus is the only answer to all life’s problems.  Through many horrible experiences they definitely know that nothing is impossible for our God.  To Him be all Glory and Honor.
