About the Book

Kory the Koala Bear: It’s good to be kind introduces children to Kory, a loveable Koala Bear, who loves children.  In this book he shows children how to be kind to each other and how to get along with everyone.  Even though we are all from different ethnicity and backgrounds, Kory teaches that we are all the same and we must be kind to each other.

About the Author

Nick Forlizzi was born in Brooklyn, New York and currently resides on Staten Island, New York with his wife Angela.  This is his first children’s book.  He enjoys writing for children and draws his inspiration from his 15 nieces and nephews who keeps him young at heart.

About the Illustrator: Lisha Sorrento is a freelance illustrator.  Her style is both whimsical and humorous.  She enjoys children’s illustrations because they are timeless and appeal to everyone.  This is her first book.
