About the Book

Catherine Prater, was raised in Philadelphia, and just recently moved to Atlanta Georgia.

Catherine has been writing poetry, and shorts stories for eight years, her inspiration for poetry is from God, which inspired her to write about friends and family, she said, “I can talk to a person for a moment and feel what type of person they are.”

She said, “I feel that some times describing some one with poetry is easier for them to except, it somehow romanticizes their lives”, and her short stories are  written to give you a glimpse of reality, and how  some people don’t realize how their actions can some how destroy another persons life.

About the Author

Her inspiration to write came from the devastation she felt when loosing loved ones, that died tragic deaths.

She felt that someone should tell their stories, even if they are short stories, “at least a glimpse into their lives is better than nothing.”

Her poems are written about family, and friends, who have suffered some hardships..., all in all she likes to write good and positive anecdotes about friends and family.
