When Rae got there she got the surprise of her life, standing there as big as
you please was her high school sweetheart and he was the owner and boss
of the Flying W Ranch. Rae had been corresponding with his foreman
James. Rae did not know whether to be happy about seeing Robert or mad
about being deceived by him being the owner of the Flying W. Robert was
feeling the same feelings Rae was about seeing her. Robert had no idea
the new employee was none other than Rae Fushau. The applicant his
James showed him was Rae Cooper. In the back of Roberts mind he
thought it was funny to hear about another girl named Rae, because it was
an unusual name for a girl. Rae had put her married name on the
application. Rae and Robert had a very complicated relationship even for
being as young as they had been in high school. There still was some
unsolved issue between them. After their last huge fight, Rae had gone
into a downward spiral of a deep depression. Jeanette had been the only one
to be able to bring Rae out of it and back into society. That was when Rae
had met John. And John and Rae were married eight months later.
Rae and Robert stood there looking at each other, neither could believe
what the other one was seeing. They slowly walked over to one another.
