No Greater Love
For God in His infinite wisdom gave and sacrificed his only Son to die on that rugged cross of Calvary.
Mocked, scourged, disrespected, bruised, and abandoned, Jesus trudged on carrying the weight of all the sins of the world.
Oh yes, they stretched Him wide and hung Him high and He hung His head for me, and He died.
No greater love this world has ever known.
No greater love a father has ever shown.
For we as children of the Most High King have our own crosses to bear.
Daily, we must endure hardships as good soldiers.
We must know that our fight is not with flesh and blood but with principalities.
Jesus Christ left us another comforter--the in dwelling Holy Spirit to give us strength to endure the crosses of this life.
No greater love this world has ever known
than Jesus who laid down His life for all our sins.
Having God’s Best
God is good and He is the best.
He is true and He will put you through the test.
Trials and tribulations will come upon you, just to see what you will do.
Have faith in God and never give up, for He will fill your empty cup. A heart overflowing with love with come in, when you accept the Lord and be born again.
He promised never to forsaken you,
He will continue to see you through.
So hold on, and be strong, for it will not be long,
You wilt never go wrong.
You will pass the test when you are laid to your eternal rest
and you my friend will have God’s best.
Birds of the Universe
Some people are like birds—
Like the Dove that is full of love,
symbolizing God’s uncompromising and unconditional love
and peace towards all mankind, that He would
not destroy the world.
Some are like the eagle--strong, brave, courageous, and daring.
As the scripture reads, some mount up on wings as an eagle who runs and never gets weary, and walks and never faints.
Yet others are vultures--ugly and awkward.
People who pick everything apart; the critics--always finding fault.
They eat away at the fabric of our human experience and existence.
The raven, an omen or curse; bringer of bad news—similarly the buzzard comes for the dead.
Others are like the seagull...thirsting for the waters of eternal life. Living near the sea swooping down for the nourishment to quench his thirst in the serenity and stillness of the pools, brooks, and rivers.
For man on the seashores of despondency and despair, found eternal peace, love, and joy when he found GOD--THE DOVE OF OUR SALVATION; being like the eagle, symbolizing that all power was in his hands in heaven and on earth. Like that seagull, God told us that out of our bellies would flow rivers that would never run dry.
God created the array of birds to embody the different visages of mankind.
That we, all being different like birds of the universe, would one day find eternal joy, peace, and love, and harmony this day and forevermore.
Unspeakable Joy
