Jim Bob Justice is a fourth generation Texan who has spent most of his life along the Brazos River in Texas.  Using an old map that was given to his grandfather, Judge Judd Justice, by his client, a Comanche Indian woman, and a tapestry map from the Vatican on loan for an exhibition which Jim Bob visits in Lubbock, Texas, he makes an archeological discovery inside a great rock mound on the Brazos upriver from his home place which shocks the world.  This story which spans several centuries is historical fiction which will both entertain and educate the reader and can be read in about two hours making it excellent reading while traveling or for a quiet evening at home.


About the Author

Bob Balch is a native of Seymour, Texas, where he grew up going to the Brazos River with his friends to camp, hunt, fish, and trap game along its banks.  His knowledge of this great river and all the good memories that he draws upon are captured in this book about a fictional character who makes a great archeological discovery on the river.  Bob is a graduate of Baylor University and is a practicing attorney in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he lives with his wife, Debbie, and their two sons, Trey, a medical student at the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas, and Josh, a senior at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
