A black limousine stopped at the
gates of the Vencenti mansion. The gates opened and
it proceeded to the house. Tony Sarino got out
followed by two of Vencenti's men.
“Antonio, it's good to see you, please sit.”
“Hi Uncle Angelo, is everything all right. You're not sick
or anything, are you?”
“No I am fine. It's you that I am worried about.”
“I feel fine.”
“Antonio, you have gotten yourself into a lot of trouble.
Tell me about the Sheridan hotel.”
“I go there once in a while.”
“Antonio, slow down and select you answers very carefully.
You know what I'm talking about.”
“Well, the boys and I had a little trouble but nothing to
worry about. Why all the questions?”
“A man has come to town to find you. A
very important man. He knows you were involved with the shooting and
he's looking for you.”
“What man? Should I be scared of a single man? Hey, I'm from
the family and we're not afraid of any man,” Tony said as he stood up. “He
doesn't scare me, I'll handle him.”
“Antonio, sit down, show some respect!” Angie yelled.
“Ok I'm sitting. I meant no disrespect Uncle Angelo.”
“You must go away. Maybe I can handle this but I don't know
how yet.”
“You sound like you're afraid of him.”
“Yes, and you should be too,” Angie yelled as he slapped his
hand on the table. “He is the most dangerous man on the face of God's earth
once he's provoked.”
Tony sipped some water. “What do you suggest I do?”
“Go away someplace. Denver, Phoenix, Miami, anywhere, but stay there until I
call you.”
Tony stood up. “Sure Uncle Angelo, I'll call you when I get
someplace.”
Tony walked back to the limousine and they drove off.
