About the Book
Through The Eyes Of A Child (MANIA FOR A DAY) is a story about an aspiring, strong, ambitious and determined 19 year old teenager who joined the Army to take care of her 2 year old son and herself. Always trying to do the right thing, she got caught up in the game of peer pressure, sex and a premature marriage to the wrong young man. She was never controlled or forced to have low esteem or to be humble, meek or low. She thought that her husband was outside his mind because he was trying to make her into his mother.
About the Author
Maria Maddox is an aspiring author, poet, artist and designer. She is a continuing student, Born Again Christian, Veteran of the United States Army, seamstress, artist and most famous production of 3 marvelous children; Aaron 26, Bobby 23 and Alyssa 16. She loves to travel, read, write, draw, spend time with her children and best friends, meet new people, shop, recite her poetry to inspire, encourage and minister empowerment to people, visit and shop in her second favorite home of St. Louis, Missouri, write her friends and her “BOO.” She loves to listen to music and to dance.
Maria, she has always been intelligent, creative, talented, strong-willed, ambitious and no-nonsense female. Poverty, a teenage pregnancy, a troubled marriage and her failed first 10 years out of high school; crushed, but would not or could not defeat her strength or focus in life. On
