Nathanial's Family

Nathanial’s Family is a beautifully illustrated children’s book that teaches the meaning of family.

Nathanial, a young blackbird, wonders why Uncle Henry is wearing a tuxedo.  The answer is shocking to him, but leads him to understand that family isn’t always related by blood.

This is a book that children and adults will enjoy reading again and again.

Elda Robinson has been in the field of education for twenty years.  She taught kindergarten for 8 years and during that time developed an individualized reading program for her students.  She believes strongly that reading is fundamental to success in school.  She also believes books can be used to teach, not just entertain.

She recently completed her Masters Degree in education with an emphasis in curriculum and technology.  Her goal is to develop her own curriculum for her current sixth grade classes.

Nathanial’s Family is a result of seeing the birds flying together and helping each other.
