Experience Life

Experience Life equals poetry in motion. It exemplifies the lessons learned from good and bad relationships of loves, enemies, friends, politics, self-image, growing pains, inspirations and ultimately change. As we travel down the roads of individuality, poetry reminds us to have a point of view and to respect others. This book of poems is unique, because it challenges everyone to seize the day, fight hard against the odds to fulfill your dreams, and forget not those who helped you along the way.

Victoria Tucker is a 24 year old wife and mother attending Wayne State University as a junior in Communications.  She was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Mumford High School where she became the National Honor Society President. She loved being an alto in the Mumford Show Choir, Mumford Choral and Gospel Ensemble under the leadership of  Mrs. Deidre Thompson. In addition to writing poetry, Victoria is a Key Poet at the Key Club, where great inspiring poets from all over the world meet to recite their poetry on the second floor of the East Franklin Restaurant in downtown Detroit area. In her spare time Victoria loves to read, play sports and spend quality time with her friends and family as well as attend church at the Linwood Church of Christ where she is affiliated.
