My name is Thomasina Southwood.
I am a local newspaper reporter. Well, what I am is – I gather news for the
“Sunday Supplement” of the Spiritual Rock News, our only weekly
newspaper. The supplement is called the “African-American Expose.” I have
written the supplement for the last fifteen years. It comes off the press every
Saturday morning. Well, I know what I’m gonna tell
y’all y’all ain’t gonna wanta believe, but as a
reporter and an honest Christian women, I can tell y’all I had reason to doubt
my-self the truth of what I heard.
Leroy: I want to introduce you all to Miss Sarah and then to the others since we’re all gonna tell you all what we know about the miracle.
Leroy: Miss Thomasina, folks in Spiritual Rock, they say you gotta have faith. They all live by the Bible, and
they all say they was havin these strange dreams.

Bible presents Black characters (Earthly and Heavenly) exploring long-held
sentiments about heaven and democratic ideals.
This Graphic Drama, satire
humorously tells of heaven presently sending down to earth a Second Savior, a
Black woman.
Gabriel III, a gay angel,
sponsored by the WASS, organized female angles led by Sojourner Truth makes the
announcement.
Histories of the Universe
& Guides of the Environment by Larry Gonick, a cartoonist, is a book
compared to Miracle in Spiritual Rock at Christmas Time. Gonick's book
narrates its stories in a light-hearted satirically humorous style, but ends in
forecasting a threatening future.
This Graphic Drama also compares
with Where I'm Coming From by Barbara Brandon, cartoonist. Ruby Dee and
Ossie Davis, internationally celebrated actors, declare
Like Brandon's and Gonick's
