About the Book

STOP THINK ACT is a cognitive intervention book where the reader

1. recognizes his own patterns of thinking, feeling, and perceiving.
2. recognizes how these patterns result and support his behavior.
3. makes the personal decision to change his life by changing his behavior.
4. follows out this decision with a practical program of self-change.

So, why read STOP THINK ACT? Because behavior is directly connected with thinking. STOP THINK ACT includes techniques to impact on the reader's thinking. The target of intervention is not only the reader's environment, his feelings, his behavior or his vocational skills, but his cognitive.  The reader learns techniques to increase his reasoning skills, to stop and think before acting, to increase his problem-solving skills, to develop alternative interpretations, social rules and obligations and to comprehend the thoughts and feelings of other people.
