4-23-01- Heartfelt Prayers Of The Righteous
This is the most that we can do and we have heard
God's voice! We have been trying for
ten years to have a child to call our own.
We know God's promise, but it's been difficult to be patient and stay
strong. We never thought that prayer
meant to Praise, Repent, Ask and Yield.
After learning this, we had to learn to wait and wait until God's time.
We had to pray, believing, through two losses and infertility issues, that God
was and is in control and that He always keeps His promise. We were finally pregnant after ten long
years. Now, the miracle of life truly
begins! Praise and Glory Be To God! The true meaning of love is to protect and
provide.
12-15-01- God Will Fulfill His Purpose
God's promise is sure! He never ceases to amaze me.
Peace I leave with you. My peace
I give unto you: Let not your heart be
troubled. John 14:27
He is like the light of morning at sunrise on a
cloudless morning. He is like the brightness after rain that brings the grass
from the earth. 2Samuel 23:4
There are days when my soul feels windblown, raw and
exposed, times when I'm tossed in a blustery tempest with everything breaking
loose. But the God who brings beauty out of blizzards, promises to bring peace
after the storm. And when the beauty dawns, I hardly remember the fright of
that stormy trial.
As we prepare for the Christmas holiday, we pray for
God's peace and comfort in our lives.
We never want to forget our babies that are not with us or forget our
many blessings from God. This has been
our daily meditation. We received a
call on Monday, 12-10-01, that there was a one month old baby boy, Israel,
needing a home and a family. Israel was born on my birthday, 11-12-01.O What A
Mighty God We Serve! What a perfect
answer to our prayers. What a perfect gift. What a perfect time. A perfect
Christmas gift and wish. In time for everything. Right on time. You didn't
leave us alone God. You said you
wouldn't and we believed and trusted in you. We know it's you and your way. We loved you yesterday. We love today. We'll love you always and
forevermore. Thank you for your
strength, love, mercy and grace. You
fill me up. You bring me joy. You're
everything I need when I feel like I have nothing. You're my food, water, bread and life. I will tell all I can of your goodness.

About the Book
My story is one that has affected so many women, men and their families. Families are bonding units which thrive on inspiration, support and healing to endure life’s many challenges. I have written a synopsis of overcoming difficult losses to become stronger, wiser and able to help others. This is my life experience written in honesty and truth over ten years of struggle and strife. The joy is found in uplifting the body, mind, soul and spirit to find peace through the healing process. This book can be very helpful for personal use, but is also a natural gift to give to someone you know who is dealing with fertility treatment and/or a pregnancy loss.
Although this experience affects women greatly, men, children and families are also in need of intervention. This is a life experience that I have survived. Inspiration, support and the strong desire and need to heal are the key factors of importance in reading this story. This is a true story written in daily journal writing from, approximately 100 pages in length. There is a need to address this situation and find light at the end of a darkened tunnel. Worksheets are included for the reader to provide encouragement during the process of healing.
About the Author
Michelle Belnavis retired in 2020 as a 40-year educator. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
She is the proud mother of her two sons, UW Richland and UW Whitewater college graduate, Darian and CPCC and UNCC College graduate Israel “Izzy”.
Most recently, she served as a professional development educator in cultural responsiveness for the Wisconsin RtI Center.
