There is a lot of danger in doing cocaine this way
because it’s very easy to do too much and a lot of people end up dying. I know that I came close several times. Problem was, I didn’t really care if I died
or not. After you’ve been doing cocaine
this way for a while you start to get real weird. You start seeing shadows, you start to hear and see things all
the time. You develop a paranoia that
is worse than any nightmare imaginable.
You’ll spend all night running through your house sweating like crazy,
looking out windows, running up and down stairs, looking in closets, hearing
things, and locking yourself in the bathroom.
This has to be as close as you can get to being completely and totally
insane. It is never enough to make you
stop though. You still spend all night
chasing and trying to get that same rush.
I had friends that would do this and spend the whole night running
around their house with loaded guns looking out windows. It’s amazing they didn’t kill someone.
As if this wasn’t bad enough, one night my curiosity
got the best of me and I started shooting cocaine in my arm. This is something that a lot of my friends
were doing, but I swore up and down that I’d never stick a needle in my arm,
and now, here I was, doing that too. As
far as I’m concerned this was about as bad as it gets. Now I was shooting coke, running around my
house looking out windows all night, in constant fear that the FBI, DEA, or the
police were outside. I know that if
someone normal could have seen this, I probably would have been declared
legally insane.
I kept selling coke to feed my habit. I found new sources to buy from so I would
have other places to go when one source would run out. I was embezzling thousands of dollars from
my own business to support my habit. My
life was crazier now than it had ever been.
Crazy was a good word for it. I
should have been locked up in a mental institution. Even when my kids were at my house I’d still do it. I’d lock myself in my bedroom while they
were watching TV, or I’d wait for them to go to sleep, and stay up all night
doing it.

This is a true story about the author of this book, Randy Riggs and his twenty-five year struggle and victory over drug and alcohol addiction. There are many people out there who are having to experience the everyday consequences that come from alcohol abuse and drug addiction that don’t understand these diseases. Reading this book will help these people to better understand the frustrations and aggravations that addicts and alcoholics experience. There are many addicts out there that are sick of the life they live but don’t quite know how to get out. What starts out as innocent fun; partying, smoking pot, or just going out for an occasional drink can turn into a living nightmare that affects the lives of several innocent victims.
This book will show that no matter how innocent it may seem to experiment with the different drugs and alcohol that are readily available to anybody anywhere in the world. The final outcome usually comes with severe consequences; broken marriages, trouble with the law, damage to innocent children and even death.
The author takes you through the beginning phases of addiction right through to the very end where he was able to overcome all of his addictions with help from a higher power. The main reason this book was written, was with hope that those who have never experimented with drugs, alcohol, or gambling will see the severe consequences that can come from making these bad choices.
For those that are still suffering from any kind of addiction no matter what it may be. This book will show that no matter how dark and hopeless it may seem, there is a way out and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
About the Author
Randy Riggs grew up in
It started out being what he
thought was innocent and fun: smoking a little pot, drinking beer and partying
on the weekends. It progressed into much
more. The addictions that continued to
grow and consume his life, brought severe problems that ended up costing him
several jobs, broken marriages, encounters with the law, loss of self-respect
and many other devastating and tragic consequences. After hitting rock bottom several times,
being arrested and thrown in jail, and eventually ending up homeless on the
streets of
“ I always thought that a life without drugs or drinking couldn’t be fun. I couldn’t imagine going through life without it. Being completely clean and sober has been the greatest blessing of my life.
