(4) An American in Copenhagen

The American turned in the direction of two men that he had observed upon entering  who were sitting in a booth on the far side of the cafe  . He acknowledged their greeting with a strong.

Hello!

The American walked over to their booth with his coffee/kaffee where the two gentlemen were sitting.

Hvordan!(Hello!) Said the American as he approached the table and accepted a seat that was offered to him by one of the men who had long dread locks. They were both young men in their early to mid thirties

“We heard you speaking English to the waitress”, said one of the men.

“Yes I am, and where are you from?”, said the American.

(10) “Men who Are Abused”

It is not easy being a man

When we think of domestic violence we think of the male dominated figure physically or mentally abusing the members of his household . Has anyone considered the fact that maybe in most instances that this person has been driven to the point of near insanity by some woman who knows that the courts and the police are going to favor her opinion when they are called upon to service a threating call of distress. 

(13) “Men who Are Abused”

He reached for the car door knob, but before he could get it open she yelled at him “hey you son of a bitch watch this” as she tore her light chiffon dress from the breast down to her waist. At the same time she kicked at him, took off her shoe and began swinging the shoe at him and at anything in the car that the shoe could hit. Her hair was array from her own hysteria, she some how or other busted her lip. The man was petrified.

A scream came from the back section of the floor, a voice screeched “someone come quick”. When the staff arrived at the entrance to room R 42 they discovered the body of Beulah the black full bodied nurse laying across the bed  The head nurse began to administer CPR and all of the life saving skills she knew. They immediately called in a doctor who began to apply shock treatment no response came from Beulah. The doctor told the crew to consider the situation closed after he had checked all of the vital signs. The body was removed to the morgue. 

(55) BASE CAMP

Only 48 hours ago these men were standing around their stacked foot lockers complaining about the lack of action and engagement with the enemy. They were bored that the Viet-Cong had not shown interest in the base camp.  Now, the time of reckoning was at hand.
