“No, fine, be my guest.” It was good for Abigail, because Jim believed more than he let on. And he wanted to believe more than he let on. The only problem with others besides Abigail that either believed to some degree or wanted to, is that it’s all rooted in the thought that they are there to help Abigail send the spirit “into the light”, or onto an afterlife where they will “find peace.” That’s a bunch of bullshit. If anyone has any level of expertise in contacting the dead, simply to “purge them” or rather send them to another realm, in essence what they are really doing is ostracizing that spirit from being welcomed into their lives. It only sends the spirit away packing from that area. This is the worst form of séance anyone can do. It’s like The Exorcist, well not that dramatic, you’re not pissing off demonic possession, but you are pissing off a spirit that just wants to belong. If Abigail would’ve held a séance to just call up spirits to visit, that would’ve been nice. Instead she wanted to hold a séance to get rid of someone she didn’t even know.

About the Author
Spawned from the oily pools of Flint Michigans auto
industry, Craig Draheim enlisted in the Marine Corps after high school and
after that the Coast Guard. Following eight years in the armed services he
started a contracting business with his brother-in-law. When that failed from
personality clashes, he went to work in a small factory, running presses and
welding. Disgruntled by repetition, he left to work for a plumbing and heating
shop. After a religious argument with the bosses minister, he was let go to
pursue various odd jobs until becoming a draftsperson for an engineering
company. From that he went on to surveying until recently being laid off due to
cut backs and having no college diploma. Honestly.
