About the Book
THE ABUSING OF AMERICA presents an extremely insightful and compelling look at how our whole modern, American way of life, ultimately and detrimentally, affects us all. It is a portrayal of how the implementation of many individual and collective goals and priorities, can often result in being counterproductive to ourselves and others in society. Individual and societal abuses continue because we have a tendency to patch up symptoms, rather than eradicate root causes. While the book is a serious and factual examination of what causes the abusiveness found in our society, it also illuminates 20 different paradoxes that perpetuate the continuation of such abuses. Nonetheless, the author finds the capability to appropriately make use of his satirical wit to lampoon the purveyors who present obstacles that negatively affect our ability to overcome abuses. It all makes for an interesting and thought-provoking read.
