2. Golden Rose
My golden rose
much more precious than fine gold,
gives me a new heart and soul
and throws away the old.
My golden rose
overflowing with beauty
from her head to her toes,
regardless of her clothes
whether it's new or old,
she always looks superb
with her unique and charming pose.
My golden rose,
is so outstanding, good-looking and gorgeous,
that when compared to
flowers and other roses,
she makes them look like a wild gorse,
or like wild bushes, prickles and thorns
in this world's flower garden
she's the most beautiful thing
that is seen
when looking down from heaven.
My golden rose
beloved by mother nature,
highly respected by every creature,
blessed by the Creator,
has given me the highest stature
in the past and at present,
and I'm quite sure
it will be the same in the future,
with my baby-rose,
my golden rose.
6. From The Womb To The Tomb
From the womb
to the tomb,
is it going to be soon?
No! No!
No one wants to be in this room.
We came from one room
but soon,
we will be in another
caused by the sin of our forefathers.
Is this really true?
Is this really the rule?
In the tomb
no one wants to be,
but yet
one is not thankful for each noon.
From the womb
to the tomb,
is this really a process,
or does it exist
because we all are possessed?
With destructive weapons
and evil thoughts,
for sure,
from the womb
to the tomb's order
will last from border to border.
From the womb
to the tomb,
will this last forever,
or should we honour thy Heavenly Father
and thy Earthly Mother
and about that order
we will not bother?
Have we all failed the test
and are standing on a line
waiting for whose turn
is going to be next,
because somewhere down the road
we misguided our footsteps
all because we were careless?
Hearing of this
for some it might create stress,
but regardless of whether you are fearless
just remember,
you have been careless
so now you are caught up in this mess,
from the womb to the tomb's process.
Can we avoid this mess
by doing our best
so in there we will not rest?

About the Author
Neale A. Smith is a budding and truly unique personality.
Neale’s first real awareness to poetry, came to him when he took part in a class poetry test. His poem, at the time was not selected, but that experience was to set this enterprising young talent ablaze.
At the tender age of eleven, he lost his dear mother, who had been his great source of strength and inspiration. This loss has served as an even greater 'push' to express his creativity through these beautiful poems. A few years later, he would realise that he had a ‘knack’ for poetry. This is his very first internationally published masterpiece.
