About the Book

A Devil Among Angels is Eva's first novel, which was inspired from her childhood. As a child, she survived hard times on a small farm in New York State.

She toiled with her sisters in the fields, picking stones and planting rows of vegetable seeds. At the end of a long, exhausting day, their "allowances" were the blessings from Mom's home cooked dinner.

She was surrounded by poor living conditions, with scarcity of food and clothing to share with other siblings. However, she was taught devotion, restitution, and persistence.

Ike solidified rules and expected obedience. If rules were broken, they were spanked, lost an earned privilege or read a pertaining verse from the Bible. She was familiar with Exodus, twenty, verse twelve.

At age six, she felt shunned and unloved by her parents. Mom was pregnant and caring for two younger children. Dad, with minimum education and skills, worked odd jobs to support the family and was hardly ever home.

She was contemptuous, intractable, defiant, and misjudged her loved ones. She learned from childhood mistakes, that parents provide supervision and support.

Parents DO care and love us, even though, as a child, some think otherwise. Honor, obey, and adhere to their advise... OR... YOU may be next...

A Devil Among Angels... AND... IF you have a goal, work hard and it CAN and WILL be accomplished because here's proof, so, be BOLD, BRAVE and DARE to follow that dream.
