Joseph P. Waitz is the author of God’s End-Time Man, a book about Herbert W. Armstrong published in 2000. Like Armstrong, J.P. Waitz was an advertising writer for many years. His copy helped sell Plymouth, Chrysler and Dodge cars, Heinz 57 Varieties, G. E. Light Bulbs and other products. He has worked as a copywriter, copy chief and creative director for a number of U.S. advertising agencies, and also ran an in-house ad agency for First Alert Smoke Detectors. During World War II, Waitz served as a navigator-bombardier on B-25 medium bombers. Hid experiences led to an interest in religion. He studied biblical archeology and religions of the world at Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. A Sabbath-keeper, he has researched and studied the Bible for many years.
